Prunes are ready for harvest by mid-August. The fruit is shaken from the tree mechanically, collected and transferred to bins . The bins of prunes are then transported to the prune dehydrator. The bins of prunes are dumped one at a time, washed in water, and tunnel dried. When dry, the prunes are then placed in storage bins and turned every few days to cure the dried fruit. This process continues until the fruit is about 21% moisture. The prunes are then graded for size and inspected for quality. We process our prunes under our own label and can print the labels in any language. At this time we only sell Wholesale.
